Commission of Gender Equality in the Public Sector – Insights Portal

The Gender Equality Amendment Regulations 2023 were approved and commenced in 2023, with defined entities required to report on their gender equality progress to the Public Sector Gender Equality Commissioner every two years. The first progress report was due in February 2024. The progress audit is to enable employers to demonstrate progress on the indicators and for the Commissioner to determine whether the Barwon Water Group has made reasonable and material progress.

The progress reporting audit is conducted in two stages; collecting and submitting the data where the commission will check our submission for compliance and make any recommendations. By having a progress audit, we are able to track our progress from the audit submitted in 2021.
